Greetings Star Seeds,
My greatest hope is that you are all attending to your personal and collective wellness and care with kindness and compassion. We find ourselves in the midst of unprecedented historical events during the Covid 19 pandemic without a road map on how to deal with its myriad affects on our bodies, emotions, mental state, psychic space, and energy system. In the course of the pandemic, the murder of George Floyd was a catalyst and call to action around issues of racial justice. We could no longer ignore the depths to which our racist systems have been devaluing black lives for far too long. We will not be returning to "normal". Nor should we want to in my opinion. What was considered "normal" was broken and in need of a major overhaul.
Flower essences can be a source of support for the state of collective trauma we are experiencing on this journey. They are not only agents of change, but allies and ambassadors from the nature kingdom. Essences invite the unconscious into the realm of the conscious in ways that support shift and provide opportunities for personal growth and evolution of mind, body, and spirit. Flower essences can bring profound presence to an experience, emotion or trauma, making transformation possible. One way they do this, is that they support us in the emotional awareness process . They help us feel the hard feels and grieve the losses we are experiencing, of which there are a multitude. In order to become whole, we need to be able to access the full spectrum of emotions, not just the socially acceptable ones. Everyone gets a seat at the table of our belonging.
Essences help us re-integrate our selves during times of transition, and dissolution. They help ground us to our internal compasses and support us in the journey of discovering where our inner coordinates are when the world as we have known it is dissolving. If our jobs or careers are gone or paused, and we have self-identified by what we do, who are we becoming without that external metric of self?
The experience of trauma is universal. Trauma can be described as the impact of an event, action, input or intrusion into our system. When a force is introduced into our field it creates information or codes. If those codes are not resonant with our system, we don't have an obvious or available way to integrate the information. If it remains unresolved, I believe trauma can "live" in the realms-physical, emotional, mental, spiritual or in the energy field. Trauma can be physical, such as abuse, accidents, surgeries, environmental; such as a natural disaster, the constant sound of sirens or a pandemic, emotional; being the recipient of damaging words, not receiving love, collective; such as war or witnessing the murders of black lives over and over again at the hands of an unjust system. We are all effected in different ways proportionate to the impact that force has on us personally. Essences can inform the energetic codes, some of which hold imprinted traumas, and introduce frequencies that can bring the dis-ease into harmony with nature's healing vibration. If we can increase our capacity to be present, we become more capable to be there in healthy ways for others and better equipped to address social issues. If we know ourselves at deeper levels, we know where we stand and we are better able to respond from an empowered space that is in alignment with our soul. Healing is rarely a linear journey. Essences aid the layered work of healing and can support us in being better resourced to navigate the uncertainties and all the emotions of this moment in time. It can be advantageous to work with a skilled therapist in conjunction with essences for extra support.
Trauma can be held in place, stuck in the body's connective tissue causing discomfort and pain. What happens in one area affects all others. It's likely there will also be an emotional component or even an ancestral one that is connected to this pattern. Animals and lands are also affected by trauma, if there has been a battle and that energy lingers, or even a fight between two people, one can sense it in the air. It doesn't feel smooth nor expansive, it may feel tight or even scary. Essences can be a wonderful agent of healing and support during this time.
Take a moment to remember how you felt the last time you were in nature. For me, nature connects me to my body. I am able to breathe more deeply and consciously. My thoughts have clarity. I have a sense of presence, belonging and safety. I feel seen as my most authentic self. My heart expands and I can sense tension and stress leaving. I remember that I too am made up of the elements and that everything is reflected in cycles of life, growth, death and renewal. Everyone's experience is unique. Personally, the two main supports during these last few months (and always) have been going into nature and taking flower essences. This has been my saving grace and I am so grateful for their soul medicine, especially during this pivotal time in our history. May we always remember our wildness and our innocence and may we partner with nature in reciprocity so that we may heal together.

"Ring the bells that still can ring, forget your perfect offering. There is a crack in everything. That is how the light gets in." - Leonard Cohen
Greetings Star Seeds,
The simple act of breathing is a gift. Respiration is a process of our autonomic nervous system, like heart rate and digestion. These processes occur unconsciously and keep our bodies functioning and regulated. The parasympathetic nervous system is part of the autonomic nervous system. It keeps us out of fight or flight, and allows us to rest and digest. Conversely, our sympathetic nervous response comes online in survival mode. When the amygdala is activated, and our flight/fight/freeze kicks in, our breath becomes shallow, we do not fully exhale because we are in survival mode. I find that conscious breathing can be more accessible when we are healthy and things are functioning in a balanced way. Yet, awareness is often born from an experience that compromises our well-being. My prayer is that we not hold our breath during this experience. Can we exhale even while we are not in an optimal place, even in discomfort? Can we be in our hearts, regardless of external circumstances? We are not expected to sprint through this and we are being offered an opportunity to deepen into self-reflection and discovery and feeling into our connections to others and to the planet.
COVID-19 is hitting the collective well-being hard. There are so many feelings that go along with this unprecedented experience and all of them are valid. We may be grieving losses-current or anticipated. We may be going through cycles of anxiety, panic and fear. Perhaps moments of acceptance and even spaciousness grace our days. Our perceptions of time may be shifting. What is essential may be coming into focus. There may be subtle awarenesses available. For me, community connections feel deeper and more vulnerable, more whole-hearted and present and super creative. I am able to see stars in the city and notice a myriad of bird songs replacing traffic, sirens, and the din of the city machinery. For all this, I am grateful.
Breathing is so important right now. How would it be to start a conscious breath practice? How would it be to take extra breaths for those who are having a hard time breathing right now? There is an expansive quality to breathing, and when we allow for this as a practice to receive, our capacity to give increases. How would it be to love one another more fiercely? How would it be to intend loving kindness to the Earth and all her inhabitants? We are in shifting times. What will be the gifts of this collective experience? There are things we can control and things we can't, like the prayer goes...Grant me the serenity to know the difference. The heart is where we can access comfort and safety, even when we find ourselves in the dark. Compassion arises from the heart, which is an organ of perception and intelligence whose electromagnetic field extends further than the brain. Love is the antidote to fear. The simple practice of placing hands on heart and breathing is a calming act that only depends on the commitment to do so. Add intention and it becomes more potent. Send it out to the world for healing and it amplifies the reciprocal connection to all that is.
We can access support from the Earth simply by feeling her consistent presence under us. Establishing a daily practice where we consciously connect, we can imagine breathing through our hearts and sending our breath down our own root system into the Earth, releasing tension and pulling up qualities that are nourishing. We can visualize our crown opening and connecting with the cosmos and the universal energies for guidance. We can breath out and energetically connect to our loved ones across the street or across the world.
A friend delivered an abandoned nest to my house the other day. Left it on my doorstep. Such a simple gesture. The sacred is found in the simple. It totally transformed the way I have been thinking of shelter at home. I am now entertaining the symbology of a nest. It can be a metaphor for the physical home, and also a symbol for the heart and our deepest knowing that resides there. The meaning of this for each of us will be different. How are we tending our nest? Are we nourishing our hearts? Can we exhale into possibility?
We are not isolated even while we are social distancing. Please reach out to one another and connect with nature during this time. Nature is always available in some capacity. We are made up of the same elements, Earth, Air, Fire, Water. As above, so below. As within, so without. As always, I would love to hear from you!
All my love and gratitude for your resilience and courageous hearts,

The times they are a changin....Collectively we have been propelled into uncharted territory, a realm that is unfamiliar, challenging, scary and uncertain. The Covid-19 virus is presenting us with more than a suggestion: change is upon us and we can no longer ignore it. From an expanded perspective, the unknown brings the possibility of creative opportunities in how we relate and can show us our resilience, compassion and capacity for generosity and community spirit. Change can cause chaos if we react without mindfulness. When we respond rather than react we can experience change as less disruptive and with more equanimity. Our sympathetic nervous system (fight, flight, freeze response) doesn't go into overdrive. This keeps our stress levels down and is supportive to our immunity. The ways we respond to circumstances beyond our control is a choice and a practice.
As an empath and an intuitive who works intimately with the Earth, elements and plant spirit allies, I try to practice awareness and pay attention to the language of the soul, to symbolic insight and messages and to the interconnectedness of all things. I have experienced how our words, thoughts and actions carry weight energetically as well as physically. Our perspectives hold energy as well. When I am tuned in, when I am able to pause, go within, go into nature for support, and step away from my very human emanation that gets caught in illusion, ego, fear and distrust, I remember that I/we are embodied souls, spiritual beings with access to spiritual tools, unlimited perspectives, and Divine guidance. These moments of grace, surrender and comfort may be fleeting at first, but with practice, participation and faith create a vibration that I personally prefer to many alternatives. When we feed fear, fear expands and fear is not good for the immune system. We can still practice being safe, prepared, hygienic and conscious of the situation without fueling it with panic, anxiety and fostering scarcity consciousness and unkind behavior.
My inner wise one, my spirit guides and the voice of the trees have whispered that living in reciprocity with the Earth and all beings and developing a connection to the elements, and a respect for trees, stones, mountains and our animal friends is a shift that is essential at this time. My personal and professional practice is informed by the stars, ancestors and messages delivered in dreamtime and through shamanic journeys. The imbalances directly related to climate change have led to devastation on a global scale. Those whispers have turning to screams, whose message has been: the way we are doing life is unsustainable...something's gonna break. We are at the tipping point.
No one could have predicted this pandemic, certainly not me. However, I believe that the energies that have been lining up to create a potential for this world catastrophe/catalyst have been hanging out in the ethers for a while now, informing us on energetic, elecromagnetic, and subconscious levels, resulting in perhaps feeling unsettled, polarized, burnt out or manifesting in a rumbling that shift is inevitable. Energy travels through different frequencies in the collective unconscious until it picks up gravity and becomes a thing, a disease, an earthquake, a pandemic, a healing movement.
Recently I received information during a meditative state that it is not a coincidence that so many trees have burned recently with the fires in the Amazon, Australia, California and beyond. Trees are the lungs of the Earth. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the lungs hold grief. The Covid-19 virus is attacking our lungs. The Earth is grieving. Our collective souls are grieving. We have abdicated our soul missions for money. We don't spend enough time in nature, playing, creating, singing or dancing. We live in a culture of more, faster, busier. Where productivity, fast fashion, and disposable everything for the illusion of convenience has replaced soul pursuits, stillness and the joy of just being. We are out of balance. The response measures to the virus have hit a giant pause button on the way we go about our days and the pace we keep. Perhaps we are being encouraged to do just that. Pause and reconnect with what truly matters. Perhaps we are being invited to welcome home the forgotten parts of ourselves. The ones that have a slower rhythm, are more present, the receiving and allowing parts. The parts that keep tempo with the heart beat of the Earth. The part within each of us that knows "I am enough" and "I have enough". (And I do not need to hoard to prove it!
Here are some tips for navigating these times from an embodied soul perspective.
As always, take what resonates and leave the rest.
Keep your body moving...there are yoga and exercise apps, free videos on youtube for just about everything.
Connect with nature...even if it's your yard or a tree on the street
Allow your emotions to flow...but don't let fear drive the car
Hold good intentions for all beings...
Do your taxes...
Start spring cleaning early...
Call your elders...
Call your friends and make each other laugh...
Snuggle your pets...
Limit news and social media...know your limits and step away before you get overloaded. Constantly being plugged in is not being informed, it's being overwhelmed and saturated and it is not productive...
Connect to Source energy and keep up your spiritual practices...
Envision a world with cleaner air, less carbon emissions and healthier ecosystems...
Write letters and make art...
Pray, journey, cultivate stillness in some way...
Find and share creative ways to spend time with your children and share them with other parents...
Have virtual dinners with friends...
Attend to areas of your business that have been neglected due to lack of time...website updating, sharing words through blogs or other channels etc.
Be present and patient...
Start a gratitude practice...
Cultivate self-compassion and compassion for others, these are shocking times and care and kindness is a welcome attribute...
This is a great time to start a meditation practice....going within gives us the capacity to be centered in our own truth and maintain internal equanimity when faced with uncertainty.
Check in with elderly neighbors and offer to go grocery shopping for them..
Help those that are less resourced and are having a more difficult time and give generously in whatever way you can...
Dream a new world into being ...
I am offering Astro-Soma virtual sessions for those of you who would like support in navigating these times from a soul perspective with the support of essences, astrology, energy exercises, affirmations and oracular readings.
With love and blessings, Claudia
Greetings Star Seeds!
We are under the influence of some significant astrological energies and how we meet them is going to make a difference. Similarly to how we choose to interact and respond to experiences in life and folks that are in our orbit, we can make a conscious choice to dance with the cosmic energies and take them as opportunities to learn a new choreography or we can sit on the sidelines waiting to be asked to step out onto the dance floor. That being said, sometimes there are no side lines and sometimes our foot gets trampled regardless of how much poise we intend. This is one of those times.
When the sun is in Capricorn, we have an opportunity for maturation and growth. The Sea Goat is hosting a party for some big players this weekend. On the guest list are Saturn, Lord of Karma, who is in his home sign and represents our places of boundary, contraction, responsibility, maturation, and how we relate to time. Pluto, The Great Transformer, joins Saturn on Jan. 12th at 22 °. He represents our relationship to power, and our ability to alchemize and shift. Shadow work and unearthing of taboos will be part of the gathering. The places that can get sticky are where we have abdicated, given away agency and our ability to respond with the wisdom that maturity brings. But, don't be a hater, they are just nudging us toward empowerment and urging us to release and compost what we no longer need to carry forward. This may bring experiences that catalyze and propel us forward in ways we feel not ready for. There may be grief and loss. We may experience cycles that are ending, structures and paradigms that can endure no longer and must be terminated. We can look thru a personal, political, and planetary lens for where these exist. Deep transformation can feel like a total disintegration and the stable ground may look different in the integration process and beyond.
There will be a "Plus 1" on the guest list as Jupiter, associated with Zeus, joins the revelry toting a spirit of fun and adventure but also with the potential to make things bigger and expand. He is also likely to be drunk. Added guests include Mercury, Ceres and Pallas Athena. So how we communicate matters. The ways we nourish ourselves and what we ingest will be highlighted. Do we eat junk food and watch junk news? Or do we listen to our body's wisdom and offer balanced foods that support longevity and endurance? What does our self-talk and narrative look like? Does it need an upgrade? A total overhaul? Where are we spending our energy? Are we strategic in our craft? How does inspiration weave through our lives?
The setting of this soiree will be individual for each of us and will depend on where 22 ° Capricorn falls in your chart. The other planets that grace this house and the aspects they make will add to the party favors and flavors of this time. If you're interested in finding out get in touch with this Cappy gal! Meanwhile, not to be overshadowed (pun intended) we are in eclipse season! The lunar eclipse on January 10th in the sign of Cancer invites us to pay attention to our internal parent. We may need to re-parent ourselves so that our lives flow better. Eclipses bring revelations and insights so don't doubt the importance of sustaining a spiritual practice even if the results are not immediately visible.
The seeds that we plant now have the potential to reverberate beyond this amplified and challenging period. This party is likely to be messy. So come as you are and spend it with Kristin Jamieson and myself integrating all our parts, releasing holding patterns, and stepping into soulful embodiment on our journey toward wholeness and healing and self-empowerment. Sunday Jan. 12 1-4 pm.

Divine beloved, help me trust when I cannot see, nor hear, nor make sense of, nor connect to, nor find the words for.
When the relentless swirling of anxiety and unhelpful thoughts overcome me like a tidal wave, may I trust that there are other workings afoot that I am unaware of.
May the sobs of grief part long enough so that I may listen for the whispers of trust even as impatience screams at me, perfectionism pulls me into descent, and loneliness engulfs my heart.
May trust be my cloak during the dark times of forgetfulness and in the light of remembering.
When my doubt overcomes me and my breath is shallow, may I trust in the signs that glimmer in the moonlight.
"You are still here."
Hummingbird tells me.
When I can't feel the ground beneath my feet, may I trust that my roots are anchored in heaven.
When I feel as though my very being is disintegrating, may I trust that this is when I am about to be reborn.
In love +gratitude, Claudia
Greetings Star Seeds!
Are you ready to step boldly into a new decade? The onset of 2020 offers us an invitation to own our inner authority, claim personal sovereignty and take informed action that is deeply resonant with our inner truth. The time of giving away our agency is over. As we step into leadership and right action that is in accordance with our deepest wisdom, let us remember that we are not separate from nature, the animal kingdom and one another. We are reflections. We are both teachers and students. The more awareness and attention we can cultivate, the more present we can be with ourselves, one another, and our environments, the more we can live from a model of an embodied soul.
The astrological weather serves up an opportunity to engage with personal and planetary responsibility, boundaries, maturity, and intuition from a place of empowerment that comes from doing the hard inner personal work. Responsibility is about the ability to respond and participate in the creation of our reality. This is a practice and a way of life that requires letting go of all the things that cause loss of power and surrendering the dynamics that result in energy leaks. It may require a shift in mind set. When we can see a situation from a different perspective, change becomes possible. True empowerment is about welcoming all the parts of us to the table, especially the gritty bits that have been exiled and deemed indigestible. They are part of us, they belong and need to be acknowledged and accepted in order for us to be whole and healed.
If you are ready to take a deep dive into a transformative experience of living life from a model of empowerment, join me and Kristin Jamieson for an intimate, experiential beta workshop in San Francisco. Space is limited to 12. Sign up here.
Resolve to make this a new year that brings deep healing and wholeness to your life and jump start your journey to real change and embodiment. We would love to be your guides on this adventure!
With Seasonal Blessings and Deep Gratitude to you all, Claudia
Greetings Star Seeds,
December’s Medicine of the Moment is intended to help bring ease, grace and embodied presence to the holidays, which are often complicated and full of potential healing opportunities. This holiday season is a little more packed due to the presence of a solar eclipse on Dec. 26th’s new moon in Capricorn. Its sister Lunar eclipse falls on the full moon in Cancer on Jan.10, 2020. To read my blog on eclipses go here. A free eclipse audio class with my friend and astrologer Stella the Good Witch, can be found here. The specifics of these eclipses of course will differ. If you are interested in finding out what is being highlighted in your chart around these particular eclipses and working with essences to help navigate the astrological seas, please connect with me and book an astro-soma session.
In my opinion essences are a must have around the holiday season to keep us grounded and centered. Misting myself and my environment with All is well and Stone Shields, have served me tremendously well during travel and kept me safe within my sacred hoop. These two sprays bring a sense of inner calm when interacting with the world. The support navigating crowded airports and large holiday gatherings from a place of inner serenity and steady presence rather than from a place of stress and anxiety. Think master purifier meets magical disc of safety and sacred container. Both are beautiful allies for healers and empaths, reminding us that it is possible to enjoy an experience without absorbing and taking on the energies of the world.
Serenity formerly Holiday Calm, is a combination remedy intended to combat burnout and connect us with our inner wellspring of peace. It helps us turn to our internal wise self and neutralizes mass consciousness energetics, anxiety and worry.
In addition to the holiday celebrations, Winter beckons retreat and internal processes. Use Stone Shields in conjunction with its sister essence Cosmic Antlers to create sacred space during ritual work and circle gatherings and step into a portal to cosmic awareness and Akashic Records. Cosmic Antlers encourages awakening of inner sight and helps open the third eye. This one is excellent for astral travel, dream quests, oracular or divination practices, or when soul progression is desired. Both are great for Winter Solstice rituals and as an addition to your sacred self-care toolbox.
During times of increased energetic output, anchoring in our center is essential. Remember Who You Are helps us do just that. This essence was co-created in Tuscany in the arms of a beautiful olive tree in the countryside with a rose quartz and a pink rose. As we sat in meditation, Mary Magdalene came through, and offered the
words "Remember Who You Are". Often we have to let go of and unravel who we think we are supposed to be, who we have been told we should be, or parts of our identity that no longer fit in order to step into the truth of who we are. Mary Magdalene is known as She of a Thousand Angels and can be a great teacher, guide and support as we speak our truth and connect with opening our throat chakra.
To address dry skin issues during this time, check out our Natural Healing Cream for the relief of inflammatory conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.
This gentle, moisturizing cream is based on a recipe by herbalist Rosemary Gladstar with the addition of essential oils and flower essences that have properties that calm and soothe fiery conditions. Crafted with love, intention, invocation and all natural, humanely sourced ingredients that you can pronounce. While the foundational ingredients remain the same and are carefully measured the magic of the cream is unique. Each small batch is made lovingly and with guidance from the essences and guides that wish to be part of the brew.
Finally, please enjoy 20% off all star+root offerings through Dec. 21st, available on my Etsy site.
May blessings of Love and Gratitude surround you during the magical Winter Solstice season,
Greetings Star Seeds,
Clients often ask me about the different components of an Astro-Soma healing session. Today I would like to talk about two of the modalities that I am passionate about and believe are aligned synergistically: Flower essences and Visionary Craniosacral Work. Both provide a window into clear seeing, illuminate perception and expand perspective. Both are tools to hone intuitive guidance and connection to inner healing resources. Flower essences are a vibrational therapy that work on the subtle body and create a matrix of healing on all levels and Visionary Craniosacral Work is a modality that spans the physical and energetic realms. I love combining these two systems for soul support during times of transition. They help shift perception and invite insight as we move into increased awareness. They are gateways to deeper levels of self-reflection.
Flowers and nature have been a love of mine since I was a child. I was magnetized to flower essence therapy as though I was remembering an ancient knowing. The language of flowers was in my soul and in my cells; I recognized the healing power of this system and it made sense to me on a pre-cognitive level. My journey led me to studying the Alaskan essence system and the cacti of the Sonoran desert with Desert Alchemy essences, but I have an affinity for all flowers. Each has a specific vibration and message that is unique to its soul design, just like we do.
While I use traditional infusion methods to create essences, for me, the birth process of an essence is alchemical, includes ritual and meditation, prayer and invocation and a deep desire to commune with nature and the healing gifts that are being offered. This connection is nothing short of sacred. I consider star+root essences to be portals for transformation, and allies during the process. They have supported my soul’s evolutionary journey as well as that of my clients, especially during this pivotal time in history where where there is a clarion call for consciousness.
Star+root essences are created with the soul signature of flowers as well as gemstones, and draw from environmental and cosmic energies as well. These essences are made with attention to astrological weather, moon cycles and portal times, such as equinoxes, solstices, and eclipses. I always invoke the help of my spiritual team and ascended masters, angels and allies that wish to come forth in the creation of this vibrational medicine. Essences are a great adjunct to any healing program with an emphasis on balance, harmony and wholeness.
I find them essences to be incredible agents of awareness and perception. When our consciousness changes, we are able to change. When something is already bubbling inside, they are a gentle ally to help bring it forth. I believe they contribute to the creation of a new energetic life blueprint by gently yet powerfully providing us with an invitation to remember our true essence.
Visionary Craniosacral Work as taught by Hugh Milne spans the physical and energetic realms. A
subtle touch with profound effects. The intention is to create a clear mind, a free body and an open heart. It is relaxing and appropriate for enhancing overall health and wellness and, like essences, can be applied to people of all ages and abilities. It can help clear emotional and spiritual blocks as well as ease physical restrictions as the client’s system unwinds and releases areas of holding due to injury, past trauma, or unprocessed information. This work can feel dreamy, and trance-like as the brain drops into Alpha wave states where we are able to access deep levels of healing. Clients with neck and back pain, migraines, TMJ dysfunction and tinnitus can greatly benefit from this work. I liken the work to re-booting the system; a welcome reprieve for an overtaxed nervous system that allows you to go deep and unwind so you can move with greater ease on all levels.
For me VCS work is an opportunity to touch someone's soul. To meet hearts and join tissue. I feel into the place where the client’s rivers start and stop and where the flow could be restored. It's a journey, a dance and incredibly intimate. It is sacred work. One of my favorite components of this modality is working with the Windows to the Sky acupuncture points, found around the neck, head and arms. Working with these points that are the connection between heaven and earth, provide a window (insight) into behaviors and patterns, help regain loss of spirit and reconnect us to divinity.
Blending these modalities in Astro-Soma sessions to support a client's personal empowerment process, encourage deeper levels of self-inquiry and enjoy a more creative and conscious life is my life's passion. If you would like to work with me at this level, please get in touch. I look forward to embarking on this journey with you!
With love and gratitude,
A portal essence consultation is a therapeutic session in which we discuss the changes you wish to make, set an intention, maybe pull some oracle cards, and a custom remedy is crafted to support you in the healing process. We can also utilize an astrological lens for further clarity if that resonates.
Greetings Star Seeds,
11/11 is a portal time. An opportunity to say yes to the universe and walk through a cosmic gateway to a new energetic matrix. A time when there is an invitation to dance with the energies of Divine wisdom. It is also a day where the sun and Mercury join together in the sky. This won’t occur again until 2032, which feels significant. The sun/mercury conjunction will be transmitting to us an opportunity to speak our truth, step out of the shadows, love our shadow-out loud, review how we talk to ourselves and how our words create our reality. It can give us permission to shine and express our brilliance. Ascended masters and guides are very approachable during 11/11. Call on them for assistance and guidance.
The last month or so has been complicated, chaotic and intense on many levels, personally, politically, collectively and globally. Many of my clients have been working with being reconfigured, dismembering parts of an old life and jumping or being pushed into the cauldron of transformation; their very being-ness undergoing radical change. Many have said they feel as though they are going through the (re)birth canal. Myself included.
Deep change is alchemical. It delivers us from one dimension to another, from one state of consciousness to another. Just like the birth process. It’s messy, intense, deep, beautiful and requires courage and support. What energetic doorway are you being invited to step through? 11/11 also marks the midway point of Mercury’s retrograde cycle in Scorpio. And it happens right before the full moon in Taurus on 11/12. This feels potent to me.
So at this time we have the the messenger of the gods, Mercury, the alchemist, retrograding and hooking up with the Sun. We are currently in Scorpio season, a time of alchemy through death and rebirth, and it’s a portal day of transcendent potential. To me this timing speaks to reframing the stories we tell ourselves about who we are as embodied souls so that we are more self-aware and able to heal ourselves and our Earth. Spend a little time today with this in whatever way suits you to ask and receive direct divine guidance. Make an offering to this particular mercury retrograde: endeavor to speak truth and ask for what needs to be revealed and/or released for the restoration of balance. Sip some fresh rosemary tea, call in your spirit team, and take some notes on what comes.
I recommend the following essences: Essences Mercury Retrograde Cycles and Higher Learning and Cosmic Antlers for connecting with the magic of this opening.
If you want to know where specifically this retrograde is happening for you, check your natal birth chart and find the house where 19 degrees Scorpio falls. If you don’t know, get in touch with me for a session or astro.com can get you there.
With infinite love and gratitude,
Greetings Star Seeds,
Midway between Autumnal Equinox and Winter Solstice, Scorpio season has always been a transformative time for me. It is a season of letting go, of death and composting, of turning inward and connecting with spiritual allies. It is a time for ancestor work and ritual, a time of portals, thinning veils between worlds and a time when thresholds and crossroads invite discernment and deepening.
Even the symbol for Scorpio changes as it goes through initiations of self-awareness and spiritual growth. From the scorpion compulsively and often unconsciously using its stinger as a means to protect, defend and attack to the snake unwinding and learning discernment through willingly dancing with the shadow to the eagle who responds to life from a higher perspective, empowered and fierce. The Phoenix is the final stage of development that the Scorpio journey offers, where the ego is alchemized through the sacred fire of transformation, and the spirit emerges reborn and regenerated. At this stage we move through life knowing that all is one. There is great power and compassion here born from truth-telling and having done our interior work and released the grips of shame and unworthiness.
Scorpio is a fixed water sign ruled by Pluto, the planet of power and transformation. Sex, death and taxes are Scorpio’s domain. This time may lead to breakthroughs that come from breakdowns. Remember that these are cycles and cycles change. We may feel like we are going through the birth/re-birth canal or like a snake shedding its skin. What needs to be composted so that the energy can be released to fuel a new paradigm that is aligned with personal empowerment? Who and what are you merging with? Where are your allegiances? Dive deep beneath the surface into the emotional depths. Allow for intimacy and the breaking of taboos. Seek truth.
Harnessing the energies of the Scorpio new moon to initiate new cycles and the Taurus full moon to release anything that doesn’t feel good can be boosted by ritual and intention. Scorpio and Taurus deal with sexuality and sensuality, so pay attention to what you need in these arenas to feel nourished. The new moon opposite Uranus may bring sudden movement and lightning fast shifts. Mercury retrograde starts its three week cycle on Halloween/Samhain and will give us a cause to pause and revisit, revise and reset before moving into the forward moving, fiery Sagittarius energy of the holidays. My suggestion is to take this time and surrender to the watery depths with an eye toward resourcing your internal wellspring.
I’ve recently added a new category of star+root portal essence offerings called Medicine of the Moment which will rotate seasonally+astrologically. It is my hope that these essences can be supportive during this time of the season which can be intense. They help shift consciousness in navigating the ever changing tides while staying aligned with our truth.
All My Relations is for remembering that we are all connected. It invites us to live in reciprocity with one another, the Earth, animals, nature spirits, the stones. Recommended for both the Taurus full moon to connect with all beings and for ancestor work. Disentanglement helps us detach and disentangle cords and connections that are no longer serving our growth. Provides support and brings awareness of root causes of co-dependent tendencies. Use for balance with themes of navigating self-identity + relationship to others. With Venus in Scorpio, this can be a great ally if feeling mergy, clingy, obsessive or jealous in the areas of love and romance. Pairing Disentanglement with its sister essence, Wild Rose for joyful embodiment helps bring comfort and understanding to these deep realizations by inviting joyful heart-centered embodiment through the process. Also wonderful for the Taurus full moon energies as it brings forth the grace and gratitude of being here on Earth. Hear Your Om: Inner Sanctum is a life-saver when you need to turn down the dial on the external noise from the city buzz. Soothes a tired+wired nervous system. Working with this essence can introduce you to an inner sanctum of serenity and help you re-align with your own frequency and can be a support in dialing down the external rollercoaster and being in alignment with the season’s slowing down, especially during mercury retrograde. And in honor of Mercury retrograde in Scorpio, we now offer Mercury Retrograde Remedy as an internal essence as well as a spray formula. A fabulous addition your spiritual toolbox for times to help us align with the pace that Mercury takes during a retrograde cycle so that we are able to remain calm, grounded, and patient in the face of challenging circumstances associated with communication and time. Re-sets our pace and allows us to slow down and flow with Mercury’s rhythms. Re-minds us to re-align, re-view and re-consider. Edgewalker, made over Samhain + All Souls Day + Dia de los Muertos is for all who walk the periphery of liminal spaces. She connects us with the gate keeper archetype and allows for safe passage when engaging in deep portal work. A perfect remedy for this magical time of year when the veils between worlds part.
