Greetings Star Seeds, December’s Medicine of the Moment is intended to help bring ease, grace and embodied presence to the holidays, which are often complicated and full of potential healing opportunities. This holiday season is a little more packed due to the presence of a solar eclipse on Dec. 26th’s new moon in Capricorn. Its sister Lunar eclipse falls on the full moon in Cancer on Jan.10, 2020. To read my blog on eclipses go here. A free eclipse audio class with my friend and astrologer Stella the Good Witch, can be found here. The specifics of these eclipses of course will differ. If you are interested in finding out what is being highlighted in your chart around these particular eclipses and working with essences to help navigate the astrological seas, please connect with me and book an astro-soma session. In my opinion essences are a must have around the holiday season to keep us grounded and centered. Misting myself and my environment with All is well and Stone Shields, have served me tremendously well during travel and kept me safe within my sacred hoop. These two sprays bring a sense of inner calm when interacting with the world. The support navigating crowded airports and large holiday gatherings from a place of inner serenity and steady presence rather than from a place of stress and anxiety. Think master purifier meets magical disc of safety and sacred container. Both are beautiful allies for healers and empaths, reminding us that it is possible to enjoy an experience without absorbing and taking on the energies of the world. Serenity formerly Holiday Calm, is a combination remedy intended to combat burnout and connect us with our inner wellspring of peace. It helps us turn to our internal wise self and neutralizes mass consciousness energetics, anxiety and worry. In addition to the holiday celebrations, Winter beckons retreat and internal processes. Use Stone Shields in conjunction with its sister essence Cosmic Antlers to create sacred space during ritual work and circle gatherings and step into a portal to cosmic awareness and Akashic Records. Cosmic Antlers encourages awakening of inner sight and helps open the third eye. This one is excellent for astral travel, dream quests, oracular or divination practices, or when soul progression is desired. Both are great for Winter Solstice rituals and as an addition to your sacred self-care toolbox. ![]() During times of increased energetic output, anchoring in our center is essential. Remember Who You Are helps us do just that. This essence was co-created in Tuscany in the arms of a beautiful olive tree in the countryside with a rose quartz and a pink rose. As we sat in meditation, Mary Magdalene came through, and offered the words "Remember Who You Are". Often we have to let go of and unravel who we think we are supposed to be, who we have been told we should be, or parts of our identity that no longer fit in order to step into the truth of who we are. Mary Magdalene is known as She of a Thousand Angels and can be a great teacher, guide and support as we speak our truth and connect with opening our throat chakra. ![]() To address dry skin issues during this time, check out our Natural Healing Cream for the relief of inflammatory conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. This gentle, moisturizing cream is based on a recipe by herbalist Rosemary Gladstar with the addition of essential oils and flower essences that have properties that calm and soothe fiery conditions. Crafted with love, intention, invocation and all natural, humanely sourced ingredients that you can pronounce. While the foundational ingredients remain the same and are carefully measured the magic of the cream is unique. Each small batch is made lovingly and with guidance from the essences and guides that wish to be part of the brew. Finally, please enjoy 20% off all star+root offerings through Dec. 21st, available on my Etsy site. May blessings of Love and Gratitude surround you during the magical Winter Solstice season, -Claudia
